Welcome to Y5ML Class (Year 5 Miss Ludford)
Good morning again year 5!
This week is our penultimate week of term and things in the world are still a little bit strange! This week I am still in school, and will be creating some learning packs for the summer holiday focusing on movement, being outside, multiplication, and reading. Nothing too big, don’t forget that even though you’ve not been at school, you’ve still been working really hard on your activities at home.
The weather is apparently a little funny this week; not really making up its mind. I know I’m carrying sunglasses, a coat and wellies to school with me at the moment because I’m not really sure what’s going to happen next!
This week’s special mentions are: Petr, for continuing to upload some amazing learning that he has been completing at home and Aaron, for a truly awesome science experiment making lava with excellent scientific vocabulary and general awesome excited-ness about the reaction between the different materials. I wonder if there are any other members of the class that can recreate Aaron’s experiment using the picture he uploaded to Seesaw?
I have uploaded some more maths to MyMaths for you – remember a little bit every day keeps your teacher very happy!
And please make sure you are continuing to read at home, this could be to your grown-ups, siblings, cats, dogs, fish or even a house plant! Tell me about the book that you are reading. I have just started a recommendation from Mr Lawrence called ‘Brightstorm’ by Vashti Hardy – I’m really enjoying it and apparently it’s a whole series! Mrs Tallentire also has some amazing ideas ready to be uploaded to seesaw for you too – I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!
Stay safe, we still miss you!
